Mrs. Stephany Pacheco (VPK Lead Teacher) Ms. Stephany holds her FCCPC in Early Childhood Education from NSU. Ms. Stephany has been working at Foundations Christian Academy since it’s inception in 2006. Ms. Stephany has been the lead teacher for one year old children, and has assisted VPK. She is working on getting her Director Credential from Nova Southeastern University. Ms. Stephany has been married for nine years, and has two children. She and her husband have been members of the South Florida Church of Christ for eight years where they have served as Children’s Ministry Coordinators and ushers.
Mrs. Damita London (After Care Coordinator) MS in Education
Damita London received her B.S in Therapeutic Recreation from Indiana University, Bloomington, IN and a M.S in Recreation Education from Lehman College, Bronx, NY. She currently holds a Teachers Certification in Health. Damita worked as a Recreation Therapist from 1989 to 2001. Upon relocating to South Florida in 2003 Damita worked as a Director of Recreation for a Nursing Home in Aventura until she resigned to be a stay at home mother in 2005. She currently specializes in program planning for the After Care Program at FCA. Damita has over 20 years of knowledge and experience in working with persons with Special Needs and Developmental Disabilities. She has a proven ability to lead small and large groups. Damita married Christopher London in 2003 and they have a 4 y/o daughter and a 6 y/o son who are both enrolled at FCA. She and her husband are members of the South Florida Church of Christ, where Damita serves on the Worship Team.
Ms. Josie Dedilectus (Ones and Twos Teacher/ After Care) currently finishing her BA in Elementary Ed. at NSU. Ms. Josie has a gift for working with children. Her gentle and kind spirit is a blessing to those whose lives she touches. Ms. Josie is a member of the dynamic Campus Ministry at the South Florida Church of Christ, where she also serves on the Worship Team.
Mrs. Michelle Peters (Twos Teacher) has a BS degree in Pediatric Nursing from FSU. Ms. Michelle has been working at FCA since we began in 2006, with a short break while her daughter was born. She is happily married, and has two wonderful children. Ms. Michelle is known for her gentleness and respect for others.
Ms. Maria Giglioti (Twos Assistant Teacher) has begun assisting in the two year old room. She has a wonderful spirit and loves children deeply. She has a gift for showing the love of God to others. Maria and her husband are active members of the South Florida Church of Christ in the Spanish Ministry.

Mrs. Laura Perez (Ones teacher) has her CDA in Child Development. She has been working with our wonderful one year olds since the beginning of the year. She and her husband serve in various ministries in their local church. Laura is the mother of four wonderful children. Ms. Laura is creative, talented and responsible. We are so blessed to have her at FCA.
Mrs. Francelli Ponce(Young 4’s)
Ms. Francelli has been working as an assistant and lead teacher for Foundations Christian Academy for the past year. Ms. Francelli displays a wonderful Christ- like attitude with everyone around her. She is an excellent lesson planner and a very creative teacher. She is happily married, with two wonderful children. She and her husband serve in the ministry of their local church in various capacities. We are truly privileged to have her with us at FCA.
Ms. Mercedes Elliot (Threes Teacher) is currently working to finish her FCCPC in Early Childhood Education with a TEACH Scholarship. She is also working on her AA degree in Psychology. Ms. Mercedes has been working at FCA for two years as an assistant teacher, and now a lead teacher! Ms. Mercedes attended Christian schools growing up, and desired to teach children in a Christian environment in order to help them to have the same great experiences that she was able to. Ms. Mercedes enjoys teaching because she is able to learn from the children that she works with.
Ms. Sherleen Jean- Gillus ( Threes After Care) has worked in our After School Program for the past year. She is loving and creative in her approach to working with young children. Ms. Sherleen attends the North Dade sector of the South Florida Church of Christ in the Singles Ministry.
Mrs. Gelly Figeuora (Ones Lead Teacher) is a licensed Physical Therapist in Columbia, and is working on becoming certified in the US. She uses her many talents and abilities to serve the children at FCA. She and her husband attend the South Florida Church of Christ.
